If you need to install quietly on many machines (business/education), use:
If you are running out of local disk space, open the application preferences menu. Navigate to the sync tab and uncheck folders you do not need to store locally on your hard drive.
The installer will download the necessary components. Once finished, the Dropbox login window will appear. Enter your credentials to link your computer to your account. The setup wizard will guide you through a few basic settings, such as which folders to sync and where to place your Dropbox directory.

Right-click any file within your operating system file manager to generate instant share links.
Open the downloaded disk image file from your system downloads. Double-click the Dropbox icon inside the installer window.
