Tear Duct Blockage Massage -

Up to 20% of newborns have a blocked tear duct. It usually resolves on its own by age one. In adults: Blockages can result from aging, infection, injury, or nasal polyps.

The goal of the massage is to increase hydraulic pressure inside the tear duct system to pop open the membrane blocking the tube (in infants) or to flush out debris and mucus (in adults). tear duct blockage massage
