Rather than providing maternal comfort, Hélène—who describes herself as a "bitch and a slut"—decides to strip away all mystery and reveal her true, amoral nature to her son. She initiates Pierre into a dark, illicit world of orgies, drug use, and sexual depravity. Pierre is eventually pulled into an incestuous orbit, guided by his mother and her circle of companions, including her mistress ( Joana Preiss ) and the sadistic Hansi ( Emma de Caunes ).
